Per Florida statute 1002.395, scholarship funding organizations (SFOs), like Step Up For Students, must give priority to eligible renewal students who received a scholarship during the previous school year. Then, new scholarships are provided on a first-come, first-served basis unless the student is seeking income prioritization. At this time, the PEP Scholarship is at capacity for NEW students for the 2026–27 school year; however, scholarships are available for renewing PEP students. We encourage families to complete their renewal student application soon. As a reminder the deadline to apply is April 30, 2026. While we cannot guarantee that more scholarships will become available for new students for the 2026-27 school year, families of students on the “At Capacity” list will be notified if a PEP Scholarship becomes available for their student.
